Using one of the many WYSIWYG programs to publish my website.

There are many fine point-and-click website building software available. Use of these WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) programs can create quite nice looking websites. The drawbacks are hidden but there are are many. A custom HTML website built by Results Web Hosting will have much better Search Engine Optimization and better long-term ranking could be achieved. The coding is clean and easily crawled by the search engine bots.

Overwhelmed by the excessive hosting packages available?

We try to give what a site may actually need. Instead of promoting excessive disk space and bandwidth, hosting packages are created with the end user in mind. We work hard to keep the bandwidth thieves and spammers off our websites. Our overall bandwidth is monitored daily and feedback is provided for any site that seems to be under abuse. We are always able to put actions into place that may prevent future occurrences.

Zen Cart Packages

Clients may always install their own Zen Cart® using Fantastico in the hosting account cPanel.   If you plan to install your own cart, our Standard $9.95 package would be a good fit.   Transferring an existing Zen Cart® application to our server has no cost associated, other than the hosting fees.   For those not comfortable with installing and setting up their own, we offer two Zen Cart® plans as well as Contribution installation services.

Zen Cart® Contributions Installed

We offer installation services for a number of Zen Cart® add-on modifications (mods).   Our current listings include only mods that are compatible with Zen Cart® revision 1.3.9h.   If you have a store with a earlier revision, it would be best to upgrade to 1.3.9h for general security purposes.   We do also offer upgrade services.   If upgrading is not in the plans and there is a mod you would like installed, you may inquire with us and if it is a fit for your site, we will quote the installation.

Basic Zen Cart® Plan

Our Basic Zen Cart® plan includes installation and training to get you comfortable with the admin of your new store.   The package also include the addition of 3 mods of the clients choosing.   Zen Cart® offers some detailed tutorials and also have a thorough user discussion forum that holds a wealth of information.   There are also a good number of free templates that you may choose from for this installation.   Installation of your choice template is provided with this service. We will provide on-going support for questions you may have.

Turn-Key Zen Cart® Plan

Our Turn-Key Zen Cart® package includes installation, set-up, training, custom template and continued SEO.   The package also includes installation of up to 5 free add-on contributions (mods) to suit your needs.   Clients choice of which mods are the best fit for your application.   Full training on the website administration and operation.   We will install up to six products as part of the training process.   You may have an unlimited amount of items you can list and sell on your website.

Our Custom Zen Cart® package requires a minimum of a two year hosting term. A customized store is generally very expensive to have created.   We ask for no fees to do the work, other than a long-term commitment.   We do however ask for the full two years hosting payment prior to begining the customization work.

Your Domain Name Helps the World to Find You

The domain name you pick is critical to your on-line success.   A domain name is your own unique identity and always will be as long has you continue to use that name.   Consider this when choosing a domain name that best fits your potential website.   When you choose your domain name, you're choosing the branding that will identify your website or business.   It's best to choose a name that is short and easily remembered.

When you have your own domain name, the address of your web site will be in the form of http://www.yourdomain.com.   However, if you put up your site on one of the free servers, the address of your web site will be something like http://www.freewebsite.com/yourdomain/.   It's easy to see which of the urls appears more professional.   Having your domain name on the end of http://www.freewebsite.com/ generally negates that impact of the name.

Competition for domain names is brisk.   If you have a name in mind, verify it is available and secure the name as soon as possible.   Hesitating could result in another person acquiring the domain name you may want.
